| Concrete supporting wood and steel, the strength and beauty of concrete married to the warmth of this local, exotic hardwood. |
In contrast to concrete that is poured on site, Precast Concrete Architectural Elements have a custom finish that is integral to the design and chosen by the customer. Stanchion walls, table supports and bench ends are examples of elements that are both decorative and structural.

Concrete art objects can be incorporated into landscape design or used for distinctive, unique signage. The ancients used concrete for their monumental structures and buildings. Today we create concrete for Tom Kuklinski Wood Working for their Elements Line. Many pieces use some of the spectacular spalted maple they have on hand. Each slab is unique, depending on where in the tree it grew, and how the spalting fungus advanced through the wood. Some of the pieces actually have holes from the taps used to draw the sap for maple syrup! The base ends are cast concrete fabricated by Alpha Stone Concrete.
Formed concrete is unmatched as a practical solution when combining elements like glass, wood, steel and stone. Its versatility and ability to take on any shape in its liquid form allow it to be the link in projects that use diverse materials. The formed concrete object is often the base or support for the other elements in the composition.
The hardware is by Bob Compton of Conway. These pieces are available in short production runs.Find out more at http://kww-ltd.com.
