Large, poured on site concrete projects often need a little help to express their true potential for beauty. Adding the right amount of pigments can transform a concrete structure from grey to a vibrant color that complements the overall design.

Bare, pigmented concrete floors and large concrete objects are increasingly becoming an integral part of green building design as they contribute to the overall thermal mass of building. For example, for a building, when outside temperatures are fluctuating throughout the day, a large thermal mass within the insulated portion of the house can serve to 'flatten out' the daily temperature fluctuations,

since the thermal mass will absorb heat when the surroundings are hotter than the mass, and give heat back when the surroundings are cooler.
